If the numbers are any indication, the global market for Computer Telephony Integrated (CTI) is already worth $10 billion and is expected to grow exponentially over the next decade. The reasons for this explosive growth are obvious. Fact is that practically all kinds of information reside on server databases and the live agents that answer thousands of calls require extremely quick access to the information requested. CTI enables the rapid culling out of data specific to each caller from the server and displays it on the live agents’ monitors for dissemination, or then be relayed via an Automatic Voice Response System to the caller.
